Dear All Saints Families, Faculty, and Staff,
With the announcement from Governor DeSantis last evening, the Diocese is committed to following state directives in order to keep our children and their families safe. As stated in the letter attached, All Saints Catholic School will remain closed through April 15th. Home Learning will commence on Tuesday, March 31st. All families will be receiving emails to help you prepare for this educational process. Our faculty are fully equipped and organized to begin this type of learning and help parents navigate their instructions.
The school will be closed today after 2:00 PM until further notice. We are finite about not having anyone at school until March 30th. According to the CDC, the virus may live on a surface for four days. For that reason, we are mandating no one be at school next week after cleaning. There will not be anyone at the school to receive phone calls or let you into the school for items needed. Our goal was to allow teachers back on March 30th to enable them to work at school. However, we must also keep our faculty healthy and what can be done from home, should be done at home. Teachers are prepared to stay home, if needed. We will inform parents about the presence of any staff at school after March 30th.
This further closing does impact some upcoming events. Please watch your emails for further information.
We fully understand the stress this pandemic has on all of our families. Let us take one day at a time, love our families, and find peace in God our Father.
Yours in Christ,
