Therapy Services

Speech and Language Therapy

Mrs. Elizabeth Doughtery was hired as a part-time speech therapist for our school. Since the county and other agencies are still doing speech virtually, we thought it was very important to have a therapist who is available in person and who can work with families and teachers.

Sessions will be for one half hour. We may put a maximum of three students together if they have similar speech needs. Parents will be asked to pay $10/session. If you wish for one-on-one therapy then the cost is $25 per session. There is an additional charge for a speech assessment. This must be worked out with Mrs. Dougherty.

Meet Elizabeth Dougherty

My name is Elizabeth Nolan-Dougherty. I am a Speech Language Pathologist. I will be a part of the faculty at All Saints Catholic School. I will be servicing children that present with language, oral motor and articulation difficulties, and cognitive impairments.

I grew up admiring my mother as she worked with children in her private practice within the comfort of my family’s home office. I found it amazing that someone could acquire knowledge, best resources, and commitment to help children find their voice. This belief lead me through my academic and professional career to become a Speech Language Pathologist.

I completed my Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology at Brooklyn College in 2006. This was the start of my career journey. I worked in Special Education schools, general education schools, therapy centers, private practice, rehabilitation centers, etc. My heart is with children as I have two myself.
