This year, All Saints Day, our school’s namesake, is a time to celebrate our Catholic identity and falls on Monday, November 1st. It is a Holy Day of Obligation and all of our students will attend Mass at 9:30 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church.   As in past years, we are asking our little ones, Pre-Kindergarten through third grade, to dress as their favorite Saints. Classroom teachers will be sending home more information as the day approaches.  As we must still respect the capacity of St. Peter Church, the entire school will  be attending Liturgy, but parents are unable to attend.  To help our families celebrate this very important day, we will once again have a “Saint Parade” in our parking lot immediately following the Liturgy.  Mr. Snyder was able to obtain a grant to purchase an entire drum line for our students to use in school. All students dressed as Saints will walk through the parking lot in prayer.  Our older students will line the sidewalk next to the school, as they do with end of the day pick-up.  We ask families to park in the parking lot of Jupiter First, across the street on Maplewood and stand on the sidewalk closest to St. Peter.  The start of the parade should be about 9:45 AM.  We are so excited to continue this new tradition every year.
