As we are in the peak of regular flu season and the recent concerns over the Corona virus, I would like to remind our families about some of the school policies regarding sick children. It is imperative these following directives be adhered to, in order to keep all of our children healthy:
- Students are to be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school after an illness.
- Children with Vomiting and Diarrhea are not to come to school and cannot return to school for 24 hours after the last episode.
We are constantly reminding the children about good hygiene practices to keep germs from spreading. These include, but are not limited to, washing hands before meals and after using the restroom. We also encourage our children from excessive touching/rubbing of their faces. Please remind them to do this at home as well.
If your child is sick and you have concerns, please contact your child's pediatrician for advice.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Nurse Deb at email@example.com.
Please read the important attached letter from the Diocese of Palm Beach Office of Catholic Schools regarding the Coronavirus. We will continue to update families as information is passed along to us from the Diocese.
